Exhibit Overview The members of the Pointless Sisters live within an incredibly beautiful and diverse region of forests, agricultural and urban lands in Sonoma and Lake counties. For this exhibit the group challenged themselves to portray the threats our population and environment face from the consequences of fire/flood/droughts and development including loss of species habitat. Our mission for this exhibit is to bring environmental awareness through our art to our community using a variety of surface design techniques including mixed media, photography, stitching and painting.

This exhibit features the artwork of Elizabeth Anderson, Kathi Archer, Jennifer Baker, Lyra Bobo, Cheryl Braswell, Sharon Cahn, Angie Frey, Trudi Chamoff-Hauptman, Ann Hines, Carroll Hirsch, Jo Kellar, Sue Kelly, Su Lin Mangan, Judy Mathieson, Linda Morand, Jan Nilsen, Gerrie Peterson, Gina Statler-Calhoun, CL Tree, Andrea Van Voorhis, and Ellindale Wells.

About the Artists Since 2002, the 40+ member Pointless Sisters Art Quilt Group of Sonoma County have immersed themselves in fabric and thread in surface design and unusual techniques. They challenge each other to produce uncommon works with various common themes using paints and dyes, surface design and stitching on fabrics from cottons and silks to brocades. The Pointless Sisters have contributed artworks and raised money to benefit local non-profits. The group is committed to bringing art quilting to the community. For more information, please visit
