Nature Journaling with Angela Zocco Sturr
May 12, 2021 4:00 pm
In-person and outdoors; class meets at Laguna Uplands (at the top of Palm Drive, Sebastopol) or via zoom in case of rain.
Would you like to spend more time outdoors? Do you have an interest in all the wonderful dynamics of nature? Would you like to draw flowers, birds, bugs, even your dog? In this class you will explore the strategies and skills of nature journaling. A nature journal blends science and art and sharpens our ability to appreciate the world around us. Slowing down to observe details often sparks our curiosity and opens the door to many new ideas and questions.
With simple materials, pen, pencil, and watercolors you will learn to create a journal uniquely personal to your own observations and discoveries. No prior drawing experience is necessary.
Day/Time: Wednesday 4:00-5:00
Starting May 12 (4 week series)
Dates: May 12, 19, 26 and June 2
Class Max: 12
