Art at the Source Open Studios
Jun 4, 2022 to Jun 5, 2022
Studios throughout Sonoma County
Art at the Source, an open studio event of the Sebastopol Center for the Arts, will take place on June 4-5 and June 11-12, 2022. Over 120 artists will open their studios to the public for this signature Sonoma County art experience.
“We are so excited that the artists are showcasing their work to visitors because there is no comparison to the inspiration and joy that one gets from visiting an artist’s studio,” said Catherine Devriese, creative director of the Sebastopol Center for the Arts. “A painting or sculpture or any original artwork is a long-lasting investment that can be enjoyed every day, as it brightens our lives and lifts our spirits. The event benefits artists by helping them reach collectors and those who appreciate and value their work. A win-win for visitors and artists.”
Art at the Source represents an opportunity for visitors to see favorite artists in their studios all over Sonoma County. This self-guided tour allows visitors to curate their own art tour with the free catalog and follow the bright yellow signs to the artists’ studios. Visitors can tour artist studios to view a wide range of artwork, including painting, collage, drawing, printmaking, glass art, fiber arts, sculpture, jewelry and assemblage. Catalogs will be available at the Sebastopol Center for the Arts and other locations around the Bay Area or online. Additionally, a selection of each participating artists’ work will be available via an online marketplace at SebArts.org/AATS-Marketplace.
