Jennifer Moore is a jeweler, metalsmith and educator; she currently works as Studio and Program Manager at the Baltimore Jewelry Center. She received her BA in Art History from UC Berkeley and an MFA in Jewelry and Metals from San Diego State University. Growing up in England she learned the language of Victorian jewelry early in life which led to a job cataloguing and appraising estate jewelry for the San Rafael Auction Gallery. Her work uses the format of historic jewelry and optical toys to explore the tension between perception and understanding and how that plays out in the physical space between bodies. She has exhibited nationally and internationally including Galerie Marzee, Netherlands and has been featured in Metalsmith Magazine, 2021.
